Campbellford Skatepark

Located at 179 Saskatoon Avenue in Campbellford

Grand Opening - On September 26, 2009 a huge crowd of volunteers, partners, and youth join the Municipality in celebrating the opening of the Campbellford Skatepark.  The project has been a huge success and the park is has already been very well utilized by area skateboard and bmx enthusiasts.  The fundraising efforts are still ongoing to complete the improvements to the park, so please consider contributing to the project, details below.

Street area is 3,850 sq.ft.
Bowl is 2,550 sq.ft.

This park is a sculptural beauty & tons of fun. The faux stone, the gorgeous concrete sign, and the suspended hubba ledge; not to mention the gorgeous lines in the bowl & flow zone of the street area make this a feast for the eyes…not to mention the wheels.

The streetstyle zone combines plaza flavour with lots of flow, including a crazy roller / taco, a long flat ledge / manny, a flatbar, flatbank hip, large hubbas & rail down a 3 flat 3 double set, a step up, high bump to rail, low bump to rail, bump to upledge, beginner hubbas & rail down a bank, & medium hubbas & rail down 4, bump to ledges & more. The central landscaped area assists with drainage & facilities a great "circle flow" at this park.

The bowl could well be Canada's most unique bowl. It's small, but just packed with unique stuff including the loveseat, the mechanical to pool style corner that blends its' tranny from regular to "pool tight" through the corner, the steep bank extension, the constantly escalating deep end, and of course the big rollout hip to mini qp up on the deck. This skates like a dream & is being frequented by rippers from Toronto and Ottawa."
