Northumberland Transportation Initiative

July 9th 2010 - The Northumberland Transportation Initiative (NTI) is excited to announce the launch of our 2nd route in the "Municipality of Trent Hills" to provide affordable rural transportation to residents living in the Municipality.

The Transportation service will be offered Tuesday and Friday.  The route will enable clients to travel throughout Trent Hills connecting Hastings, Campbellford and Warkworth by offering 3-4 routes each of the service days, for a low cost of $5.00 one way. On Friday's the service also connects with the Cramahe Route, which riders can then transfer in Warkworth to travel to Cobourg or destination along that route for an additional $5.00 one way. Riders are then encouraged to use Cobourg Transit, shuttle to Port Hope, or can connect with the VIA train in Cobourg.

The van makes specific stops and pick ups in the main areas of Campbellford, Hastings & Warkworth, however will make stops at client's driveways (for those who live off the main route).  Key Pick Up/ drop off locations in Trent Hills:
