Bylaw Enforcement Complaint Form

The Municipality of Trent Hills has experienced significant growth in the last number of years.  As a result, the number of property standards and by-law enforcement complaints has steadily increased.  The Municipality has developed this on-line complaint form to assist in tracking the type of complaints and prioritization of complaints.

Complaints are categorized as followed:
Class 1 - Complaints that are a public health, safety or property damage implication or where the risk to humans or dogs exists.  Examples include but is not limited to unfenced swimming pools, property standards health and safety concerns, unsafe or faulty stairs/floors and dog attacks.  Class 1 violations are considered paramount and receive first priority for enforcement.
Class 2 and Class 3 - Violations are less serious infractions that do not pose an immediate hazard to the person(s) or property.  Examples include zoning infractions, long grass, weeds, garbage or rubbish on properties, abandoned or inoperative vehicles and yard maintenance.   Class 2 and Class 3 violations are to be received by the Municipality in writing through the complaint form available at the Municipal Office, letter sent to the Municipal Office or by completing the on-line complaint form below.
